The Silent Storm: exclusive clip from new Damian Lewis film

Watch an exclusive clip of new romantic drama The Silent Storm which stars Andrea Riseborough and Damian Lewis.

Set on a remote Scottish island, the story follows enigmatic outsider Aislin (Riseborough) who finds herself caught between her minister husband and a delinquent (Lewis) that is sent to live with them. The film is produced by Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson, best known for their work on the James Bond franchise.

Riseborough – star of Brighton Rock and Oblivion – won a British Independent Film Award (BIFA) for her role in 2012 drama Shadow Dancer . She also stars in Alejandro González Iñárritu's upcoming black comedy Birdman which will be released in January.

British actor Lewis most recently starred as Nicholas Brody in US television series Homeland. In 2015, he will star in Queen of the Desert – the new film from director Werner Herzog – as well as the upcoming BBC Two series Wolf Hall, in which he will play Henry VIII.

The Silent Storm is the feature-length debut of writer-director Corinna McFarlane. The film is set to be shown at this year's BFI London Film Festival on October 14.
